So as part of my series on Denver's innumerable Ethnic Markets, I am writing this one after many visits over the past few years. I have to give a solid rating to this market, as the prices are fair for what is being solid, which is legitimate eastern European, Russian, and Ukranian goods, all of it very high quality. That being said, my review is as an American raised in Denver. My exposure to the products of that part of the world comes from these stores and what I've been able to learn. As such, I will write with that in mind. If you have no idea what products to even buy in here, here are some that are now part of my rotating pantry of necessities. Ukrainian Sunflower Oil. Yes, Ukraine is at war, and yes, they are still one of the largest exporters in the world of Sunflower Oil. High in Omega 3 and 6, the refined version makes for a good, neutral cooking oil. The unrefined makes for something...earthier. Anyway, they sell liter bottles of it for like 5 dollars on sale. What a deal! Kvass--Malt beverage, basically liquid rye bread that's fermented. Yesterday my daughter purchased some cold meats at this store and honestly didn’t check the expiration date on the package when she was buying it. The meats in the cooler were expired but still staying there to buy. When she brought it back they refused to refund or exchange the product and were pretty rude to her. Be careful! Check the dates 😬

This is a great place to get many Eastern European treats! It's my go-to place to get Ukrainian food and soft drinks, and their handmade pickles are the best pickles I've ever had in my life! It's absolutely worth the hour drive.
